Very impressive design. Accuracy is good. Threshold is 2 gm I guess. Has Tare function that is used to ZERO weight of any container. Three different units of measure. Shuts off in case of idle for minute.

Why did I wait so long to get one of these?!

Good little scale. I recently got back into tracking on My Fitness Pal, and wanted a kitchen scale this time around. I like how easy it is to add things into my bowl & keep track of how much it is, without dirtying 10 different measuring cups/spoons. I definitely feel like I'm tracking more accurately in regards to snacks, etc., because I can weigh them (ex. 39 snapea crisps of varying sizes, vs. 50g even). Also, I use it to measure portions -- I make a meal for 4, and instead of just scooping out approximately ¼ of the contents of the pot, I can just WEIGH the whole thing, and then weigh what's on my plate! After I am done tracking, I will definitely keep using this for baking, etc., because of its dish-saving abilities. It's definitely a good value compared to other scales.
My only issue with it is that sometimes the tare button does not work properly. Instead of zeroing the scale on the second/third/etc. tare, sometimes it cycles back to showing a total weight (i.e. it "un-tares" completely), but if you are paying attention you can just press tare again & it will zero. Also, to power off the scale you have to press & hold the button for several seconds, but it was not explained that way in the instruction booklet.
